Mr. Anderson is the resident partner of Anderson & Welch, LLC, in West Palm Beach, Florida. He practices exclusively in the areas of criminal litigation and police liability.

Mr. Anderson has always possessed a passion for criminal justice. He earned his baccalaureate degree in Criminology and Criminalistics with honors from Florida State University and his Juris Doctorate from the Syracuse University, College of Law. He gained invaluable experience while working with the Miami-Dade County Office Public Defender’s Office. He then practiced as a trial attorney at the Palm Beach County Office of the Public Defender. As a criminal attorney, Mr. Anderson recognized the injustices arising from abuse of governmental power and misuse of authority by civil rights violations. A true advocate for justice, Mr. Anderson merged police liability into his practice to address police misconduct involving excessive force, false arrest, malicious prosecution, invasions of privacy and related activity.

With the completion of over 20 years of experience, countless jury trials and favorable settlements, Mr. Anderson has handled hundreds of state and federal criminal and police liability cases. He has litigated in multiple Judicial Circuits in Florida, including the Sixth, Ninth, Eleventh, Thirteenth, Fifteenth, Sixteenth, Seventeenth, Nineteenth, and Twentieth. His federal practice encompasses the United States District Courts, where he is also admitted to practice before the United States Supreme Court. Mr. Anderson has represented individuals in Florida, California, Texas, Georgia, Virginia, Connecticut and New York.

Mr. Anderson is a frequent lecturer and has conducted Police Liability seminars through Lorman Education Services and the National Business Institute. He is also a United States veteran who served on active duty in the United States Air Force’s Judge Advocate General’s Department.
